This year's Prom Royalty was awarded by popular vote to McKinsey Vinyard and Skyler Dunham. Last year's 2012 royalty Morgan Deeder and Skyler Lambeth, per tradition, crowned the 2013 royalty at the Legion Saturday night. read more
Wednesday May 8, at Griggsville-Perry High School in the Nicole gym, parents and students were gathered to receive awards for their academic achievements during this 2012-13 school year. Teachers, including Mr. Cheatum the principal, called up each student who had received an award and they were given a certificate. Local student and football lineman Austin Beard has been chosen to participate in the upcoming Do or Die All Star Bowl. The Bowl, now in it's 9th year, will recognize Tri-state area senior football players for their dedication, hard work, and successes, by allowing them to play one more high school game. Practice for the game will be week long, cumulating at 7:00pm, June 28th in Hannibal, Mo on the high school field.
